In a world increasingly driven by data, understanding open data ecosystems is essential for fostering transparency, accountability, and innovation. This comprehensive course will guide you through the fundamental concepts and practices of open data, with a specific focus on the African context.
This introductory course has been developed to support and provide knowledge to public officers, civil society organizations and National Statistical officers to understand the concept of Open Data Ecosystems and how to establish and sustain effective open data systems that drive transparency, innovation, and civic engagement in their respective contexts.
This course was developed and jointly organised by the Africa Information Highway, the World Bank DEC Global Institute and the Open Institute (Kenya)
